When I started playing on the internet a few years back, I had one goal in mind, to show off my artwork. It's not that I thought I had anything worth saying or that my work was all that great. Nope. I just had a child-like desire to have people looking at my pictures. Little did I know that the days would pass and I'd find real love and make hesitant friendships. I'd be pushed into selling myself as an unlikable internet personality, just so I could get a spike in my pageviews, here and there. Sure! Most of my friends on LJ are people I don't know in real life, and I'm always willing to make new friends. I liked your comments too, like how you work hard to put your child in private schooling.

What did you get banned from stupid-free for? Did you say something that really irritated them? HAHAHA!! I have a sweet gag planned for the next time I manage to offend them.

I happen to really hate double standards. If one group is going to "reclaim" a word, then it should pass into the english language as a word acceptable for everyone.

I hate the word nigger. I wish that nobody used it, ever. That said, what I hate even more is the attitude that a special group can have special rights and a special language, and the divisiveness that causes.

Nobody is ever going to learn to get along until we can see each other as equals, without whining, special rights, and playing the victim card.

So, there you have it. I'm a horrible person, and I deserve to die.

Aaaahhhh....race wank. That's the thing that fills them with the most righteous indignation. I don't see why your opinion is so unreasonable? I'm sure a lot of black folks cringe when they hear that word in rap music. It's just ridiculous that a community specializing in bullying and trolling will accuse you of being a troll.

Yes, but I'm a conservative religious person, so that makes it open season! Now, every single thing I say will be taken in the worst possible way, and any attempt to clarify will be called "backpedalling".

I don't bother trying to reason with them. Once they reveal their prejudice against conservatives, that's when I start messing with them. Once they've labeled a person, then that person is forever on their shit list (see: tigerwolf effect).

Seriously. WTF is up with that? I've never seen that sort of group behavior before I saw stupid_free. Now I'm noticing that it's spread like a cancer all over LJ.

I think that concerns about the economy are polarizing people, making them more contentious, more easily offended and more likely to be general douche bags. It also seems like people who could never be bullies in real life are making up for lost time online. In any case, they're not people I'd choose to hang out with anyway.

One thing I can say for a good wankfest though, is that the people getting roasted usually end up being the people I get along with the best. Hmmm, all the whiny liberals seem to hate them - I've got a new friend! I've met some really amazing people that way. :-D
